What to expect:
LA LUZ Y LA SOMBRA
Light & Shadow
An exhibition of life, death & memory.
In the space between light and shadow, life and death, presence and absence, we find memory.
This Día de los Muertos season, NALU Art Gallery presents LA LUZ Y LA SOMBRA — a collection of predominantly black-and-white grabados exploring the contrasts and connections between darkness and light, mortality and life, silence and celebration.
The deep blacks and luminous whites create a powerful visual language of contrast, while occasional touches of colour emerge as fragments of life, celebration and remembrance.
Here, shadow is not simply darkness.
And light is not simply brightness.
Together, they tell a story of existence — of what remains, what disappears, and what we continue to remember.
A celebration of those who came before us, and of the memories that continue to live within us. 🖤🤍
